Personal-Use License
When you purchase a digital download from Rapture Photography, you receive a personal-use license to the photograph. This license is granted to you, the purchaser, and is non-transferable.
What You May Do
- Download and keep the photograph for your own personal use.
- Make reasonable backup copies of the purchased file for your own personal storage and devices.
- Print the photograph for your own personal display in your home, office, or other private space.
- Use the photograph as a wallpaper, lock screen, background, or similar display on your personal devices.
- Display the photograph privately to family and friends for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided that you do not give or transfer the digital file to them.
- Crop, resize, or make other minor modifications to the photograph for your own personal use, provided that you do not distribute the modified file.
- Keep and use physical prints made from the photograph for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
What You May Not Do
- Share, send, transfer, give, or otherwise provide the original purchased digital file to another person.
- Email, text, AirDrop, upload, or otherwise transmit the original purchased digital file to another person.
- Make the original purchased digital file available for another person to download, access, copy, or obtain.
- Upload the original purchased digital file to public websites, social media, forums, file-sharing services, public cloud folders, or any other platform where other people can access it.
- Publicly post, publish, or otherwise make the photograph available online, including on websites or social media accounts.
- Redistribute, sublicense, license, rent, lease, gift, or otherwise transfer the photograph or the rights granted under this license to another person.
- Sell or resell the photograph, the digital file, or any copies of the photograph.
- Use the photograph for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Rapture Photography.
- Use the photograph in advertising, marketing, merchandise, products for sale, or other commercial materials without prior written permission.
- Claim the photograph as your own original work or remove any copyright notice or attribution associated with the photograph.
- Distribute a modified, edited, cropped, or otherwise altered version of the photograph.
- Use the photograph in any way that makes the purchased digital file available to other people.
Copyright
The purchase of a digital download does not transfer copyright. All photographs remain the copyrighted property of the photographer at all times. All rights not expressly granted in this license are reserved.
Commercial Use
Any commercial use of a photograph requires prior written permission from the photographer. If you are interested in licensing a photograph for commercial use, please reach out through the Contact page.
